hey i got an h22 in my 00 si ek. it wont start, its the damn distributor can anyone help me out. the motor is stamped 95 so is that obd1 or 2? and im using my si's wiring harness. also the distributor doesnt plug up. its also external coil.

i started to put the engine in since december of 2002 and its almost a year and it wont start!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh help me

 

what ecu do u have?

 

find your self an obd2 h22 distributor WITH internal coil to make things eaiser for you

since your distributor doesnt plug up to your obd2 harness it is an obd1

 

im using the 2000 civic si ecu for now, im just trying to get it started first

Any codes at all? and what wiring have you NOT completed?

 

man oh man... will that ecu even work on the H? hmm.. if it does..

u need to modify ur harness. and i know ur distributor doesnt plug in. u can make that distributor work by running the distributor wires straight to the ecu. understand? umm as for pinouts. i can get that later, if ur even that far.

 

yea im that far got everything else working, when i turn the key it cranks but wont start, thats all it does just crank like its about to start
