first off, im driving my buddies h22 swapped del sol and last night i went to put it into reverse and i heard a pop. The car now will only go into first and second gear and I cannot find third fourth fifth or reverse. My first thought was that i broke something internally in the shifter itself. I took a look at it today and I honestly don't know what I'm looking at I can't tell if anything is broken or not in the shifter, or if it is the cables themselves. If anybody can shed some light I'd greatly appreciate it. I don't normally drive f or h-series cars so this is all virgin territory to me. thanks in advance.

I would guess its something to do with the cable that moves left to right. It could be something in the tranny, but start with the cables. See if it broke or popped off the arm on the tranny itself.
