Does the exhaust piping from the prelude header line up to the accord cat? If not, what do I need to do? H22a into a 94 DX accord. Thanks!
mine came with the jdm header that was cut after the o2 sensor. i believe that the header fomr the lude does not match up to the cat of the accord. you will have to have a muffler shop or any other place that welds good to fabricate a flange that will bolt the header to the cat. thats what i had to do
no it doesnt match up, the prelude header completely bolts up to the cat back, it doesnt use any spring bolts like the accord. It has a flex pipe instead. If you use a prelude cat with a prelude header it will still not bolt on. either way your gona have to do some modification.
In my 94, I used a Prelude header with a high flow Prelude cat. I had to add a short section to to my exhaust piping to get it to fit though.
