I am searching also, but need to know if an H22 will fit into a 90 teg, and retain the AC and power steering?? if so who sells a mount kit for this application??

 

yeah it will fit but why would u do that get a b20with type r head very nice set up and its lighter.

 

Power steering I don't believe will be an option. But as for A/C that should be easily retained.

And it will drop in just fine. I'm not too sure who releases mounts, you might want to check with HCP or Place Racing on mounts for a DA chassis.

we are thinking H22 because it is a lot less money than a CRVTEC, setup or even just a B18, more bang for the buck bassically, the car belongs to the parking garage guy where I park in the city, not that he is poor, but not exactly rolling in it either, I figured the H22 is generally less $ than a B engine, and packs a good punch, the steering I can prolly convince him of, we will just have to pick up a rack at the bone yard, I am trying to talk him out of the AC too, but to no avail so far, I am going to call hasport, and some other mount fabers tommorow, that will be the real deciding factor, cause I dont fab myself, and know he really cant afford to pay someone to custom fab a set of mounts.... thanks for the replies... keep em coming, all input is apreciated!!

 

wow...just two months ago when I was looking for a friend, there was literally NOTHING for a DA/h22 swap...several 'top notch' guys even told me it's almost impossible...eh, so I gave up.

Who makes mounts for it?

Also, why would you try to talk somebody out of a/c? ha. goodness...
