H22 in 2000 civic shell
I don't have enough funds to build up internally for crazy horsepower and Im going to be rockin 19 in konigs with a low profile tire so I wouldn't hook up very well any ways but I want to put a supercharger on because I think that's the direction I want to head. How much horsepower is the motor able to take before you need to build it up? Would It be better and cheaper to go with a smaller turbo setup, my feeling is if I go turbo I would want to go big which then I would have to build up hence why I'm leaning towards supercharged. Is a Jackson supercharger the way to go? Thanks

I'm new to hondas but my thought process was even though I'll have 19 inch wheels with Toyota tires on them, with the LSD trans should help and going supercharged maybe would hook up decently with it being constant rather than turbo and vtec kicking at the same time and want to just roast my tires. Is there a method to this madness of wanting to look good and still be a quick car?
I've seen a h22 with a jackson supercharger in a civic online you just need have polyurethane motor mounts so the motor doesn't rock into the back of the engine bay? Are you sure I'll have clearance issues? I also see a supercharger is about 3 grand hoping I could find a used one for like 2 any help?
My buddy has a 4 Door on air ride with 19 inch wheels, not only do they fit but you can slam it especially when you use a low profile stretched tire, I just want a little bit of both worlds to be quick and look good.
I guess but I meant fit without looking stupid. Just sounds like a bunch of wishing and dreaming right now. You have YET to ask even one real tech related question. Good luck to you.
^ lol
If you go FI, AND you're on air ride. You're bound for technical problems every other day you drive your car. Especially if you get a supercharger and you get a heavy foot and start ripping through turns with 19s on air ride you're gonna screw something up, it almost seems extremely unsafe if you think about it.

Air ride is such a disaster. If a 50 cent brass or copper piece fails, and you're slammed on 19's...well there goes your 200 dollar tire to shreds, and now your shiny chrome rims are all rashed up.
want basic act clutch for my car which type would i want for no more than 300 horsepower application? thanks, by the way i am not going to waste my breathe telling you why airide is not a disaster in my opinion ill tell you one thing i dont have shiny chrome rims and those top of the line brass fittings cost more than 50 cents you probably a dude that just follows trends all jdm to the book.
