GSR swap into 96 hatch throwing code
Hey guys,
I have had this car swapped and running since last year with no problems. I put in storage for the winter and about 2 weeks after pulling it out it would start to throw a code after driving for a bit, but would turn off once the car was shutoff and would not pop back on after start-up. I went to autozone since I was passing by there on my way to softball and had them read the codes but had nothing to write them down with. I believe if I remember correctly had something to do with low input to the injectors. Anyways the next time I went in to have them reread and write them down, the scanner could not connect to the ECU.
I unplugged the battery for 10 minutes to reset the ECU and the the check engine light would remain on and the scanner still could not connect with the ECU. After that I put a paperclip into the plug under the kick-panel on the passenger side to have the CEL's blink so I could figure out what codes were being thrown. The only blink I am getting is one long flash, which signifies a code 10.
Does someone think there is a short in a wire somewhere? For further information I am running a P72 ecu with a B18c1 motor. I am a little stumped here and would greatly appreciate some help.
Thanks!
