I found a gsr block at a junkyard for $150. The head was already taken. All electrical has been melted on the block. How can you tell if the block is anygood. Has anyone ever had experience with a motor that's been in a fire?

 

if its just a bare block it prolly will be ok with some cleaning and get the top machined.
