Default GSR Hatch please Help!!

My friends about to buy a 92 civic hatch with a gsr motor, and I was hoping that I could get a couple of my questions answered. thanks

1) THe Shift lever moves back and forth when the engine seems to be moving.
How Can that problem be fixed? is it a mount?

2) It doesn't have an a/c compressor.
Does the compressor fit with that swap or not??

As for the shifter, no clue.
As for the ac, you'll need the ac bracket off of a dohc del sol, then you can mount the compressor.
bump for the shifter

Please be more specific on the shifter. Can you move it back and forth while it's in gear?

How about selecting gears under normal conditions and such?

Keep us posted.

for the shifter, make sure that all the mounts are bolted up. the rear one would be my first guess. if all the bolts are in and secured, check and see if any are worn out. you can fill your stock motor mounts with 3m window weld to make them a good bit stiffer. i did this to mine and it helped out a lot.
