Ok so I have a 98 EK 4 door and plan on doing a swap soon from a d15b vtec to a GSR. Questions I have are these, do I have to use a full size radiator or can I just use the stock half radiator that comes in the EK? And are there any specific changes I need to make like this? I got the rear mount from a Si, b series linkage so far because I know they have to change but is there anything else? Other than like ecu and harness because that's common sense I would believe. Thanks guys!

Re: GSR in a EK question...
Swap parts needed all are dependent on which year GSR motor you buy, also what parts that will already be coming with the motor.
Radiator does work but I dont condone it expecially in hotter climates.

Source a 99-2000 civic Si half radiator, its just as small but has the larger inlets, and Im sure is designed with faster/better flow then the others due to that car leaving the factory with twincam Vtec

Re: GSR in a EK question...
I'm getting the swap complete that says it comes with mounts and linkage but I've had them because I got them in a trade with a ton of parts for a set of rims. So since I've always wanted to B it I figured I'd just hold on to them. But pretty much with this swap off of H-motors it says it includes everything. So ill just have to look into a Si radiator. That's great!! Thanks!

make sure the swap you buy is 96-98 OBD2A

if its the complete changeover you will be needing a 96-98 civic ex harness from the US market, unless you can wire alot yourself.

Del-sol vtec's that came with a B16 from the factory even utilize a better half radiator as it is twin core, I recomend that over the 99-2000 si one.
94-97 civic del-sol Vtec will be the car it comes from.

Basically source your swap then get back at us if you have any questions/hang-ups then,
goodluck bud

It's a 98 EK Ex so I have the vtec harness. But the motor say its a 94-97 coming with a p72. I figured if its coming with the ecu and harness I wouldn't have any problems. Here's what I'm looking at. http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30009

Already mentioned but to back it up, the gsr did not have an egr valve. Ever.
