An OBD2 engine (up to 1999) will drop right in to an EG. No problems what so ever. Just run it on an OBD1 computer and leave the second O2 sensor unplugged.

You will be happier with a hybrid than with a GSR. 170 HP + lighter car and a shorter wheelbase = faster and more fun to turn.

I got 2 b16a's from http://www.hondaengine.com and swapped them into 4th gen civic's and they both run very strong. they had a couple of b18cr's and a couple of b18c1's. My engine were 950.00 plus 200.00 for shipping, and they came right to my door on a truck with a liftgate and the driver wheeled them into my garage. Not a bad deal if you ask me, but thats just me.

Fast Attack Hatchback, come and get me

This is something that I found out when researching how/where I should buy my B18C1: Try to find a car that you can actually pull the whole changeover from. Most junkyards (out here in Vegas at least) will piece together a GSR changeover. Thats' Bad!!! I waited until they had a GSR in the lot and we turned the key and drove the salvaged car. That's ideal, because you know what you are buying. Good luck...

BTW...I paid $3,800 for my changeover, he originally wanted $4,300 for it. That just shows you want you will pay for a top of the line b18c1 (22,xxx miles). He usually sells his changeovers for $3,200. He had B18c1's that he would have sold me for that price ( I saw them, and they were pieced GSR w/ high mileage usually). He knew it, and I knew the difference.

that is a good idea. I picked up a wrecked Si that got T boned for 4300.....everything I could possibly need was on that car. I got the engine(22k miles), 4 Si rims, rear brake swap, linkages, mounts, cluster, seats....and I sold $1,200 in parts off it. Keep your eyes open for a complete car.
