goin to a stand-alone system in the DA
I got the ITR swap done in my teg...check engine light is on...cant rev over 7900...cant go over 119mph...vtec kicks in at 4900...Using the pw0 ecu and obd0 dist...so im fed up wit all this BS...Called SPD out of cali today...told me bout this new stand alone system called Micro-tek, the LT8 is what i will be using...Gonna be able to controll everything through the system...priced me at 1167 for the whole setup...has anyone tryed this thing out...talked to Seth over there at SPD said its new on the market...comes pre-mapped wit ITR settings...then im on my own...what do you think, any input?

I would say that it's so new to the market that a lot of people, including myself haven't even heard of it.
I see so many posts lately about people with swaps choosing a standalone to try and solve their wiring issues. If you want the ITR to perform the way an ITR should you obviously need the ITR or an equivalent programmed OEM ECU. A standalone is a waste of $ unless you are tuning a super modded or force induction setup.
