Sounds interesting hurry and get her done.. i got pretty much the same setup but the f23a5 block with prelude type S pistons... and pretty dope headers... the head is a JDM h22 stock but i wanna dyno soon and we can see whats up..I don't recomend the k20 pistons.. My compression is around 12.5:1 and that is with the stock h22 clearance .006 out of the hole with my custom copper HG... im sure I could mill alittle more to raise it but mine is a daily driver on pump gas.... So i will be waiting so see your results....

Keep it Pimpin Pimpin...

Aren't k20 pistons 86 MM.. you must be getting after market oversize ones correct .. Make sure you clay your engine because the way the Heads are shaped are different.. there various threads where people do this and bend valves.. And nice pics good job cleaning the head and block..

Looks good to me. The extra machine work (red arrows) was unnecessary though. The oil's going to drain straight out of the holes in the head into the over-sized returns in the block. Another .050" is not going to make a whole lot of difference. Good luck with the build. Be sure to retune and post results.
