you know how when swapping a fuel injected motor in a carbed car, you have to swap the lines, tank and all that good junk...well could you run a fuel cell instead and run an aftermarket pump with stainless braided lines?
would they be safe on the street, like in the trunk?

 

All you have to do is make sure the tank is vented properly.
