Default F2B problems

so i purchased a kit from seth at QSD and couple things are going wrong.

main problem is,

was the QSD kit suppose to come with a driver side post mount to fit my b series mount or..?

and the rear midshaft bracket has sludge in the nut so the bolt wont go in all the way, also it sits at an angle so it doesnt line up right.

what do i do.
i called and left seth a voicemail and sent him an email. i need to get this thing running its been to long but now this happens :T

Did you purchase the eg/dc kit or ek kit?? What motor mounts do you currently have? 2 hole mounts or 3 hole mounts?? that sludge might be some excess weld or weld splatter. It can come off fairly easy with some tools. Post some pictures of the mounts and the midshaft bracket.

got everything cleared up. i ordered the eg/dc mounts.

what confused me was the fact that it came with billet aluminum post mount, not the steel one like the older kits. as for the sludge, i just hammerd it out with a flathead and then i broke off one of the welded nuts and used my own.

BUT i do have 1 problem. 1 real problem,

the starter has 2 mounting holes. the top one lines up and threads but as for the bottom hole, it doesnt line up right. i can barley see the hole it suppose to go into but not sure what happen. is it ok/safe to just have it on with 1 bolt or?

im sure ill figure out what to do but just asking for some ideas.

You have already been told in another thread. That bolt has to go from the back of the transmission with the head of the bolt fitting in the recess that it was made for on the QSD plate.

31.5"-32" belt, depending on the alternator relocation kit you have. If using H22 alternator, use a 5 rib or 6 rib, either will work.

im using the stock alternator and mount that the motor came with (f20b). seth informed me that the relocator isnt really needed, that i will just have to deal with clearance issues but i can make it work. so im taking his word on it.

if its too much of a problem ill just opt out and order it. wont know till i get the motor in the bay.

If you are using stock alternator mount, crank pulley to frame rail clearance will be tight. However, if you are for sure using the stock alternator bracket then you would use the OEM H22 alternator belt. (Just order the same year belt as the engine)

i know i bug but

doing a little reading and researching for distributor solution.

i came to 2 conclusions

the f20b has 8 wires, u have to wire four wires to your factory harness n the other four to your crank shaft and it should work fine?

or i can just use h22a OBD1 dizzy and solve everything?

also herd i can use a single came dizzy
