F22 race engine
I thought I posted this earlier, but I may have been unsuccessful.
Many of you may not know of my D15 powered all motor crx, but it has the current record of the world's fastest nat. asp. SOHC., with an elapsed time of 10.7.
I am trying another set up for this season. I have mated an F22 accord sohc with a D series transmission.
Using my d15 technology, this engine puts out excess of over 315 flywheel hp: the most powerful sohc all motor ever!! The tq is too scary to mention.
I manufactured, with significant assistance of RS Machine, an adaptor plate, one mount and an Action Clutch custom Flywheel.
By God's grace, this powerplant should make the HF-r more competitive this season. Please pray for my axles and shift forks.

Bizi,
You deffinetely recieve my respect!!! Though I myself am I cult following B series enthusiast, I am relieved to hear you continue to create your SOHC concotions.
However, I hope you could shed some light upon the usage of switching from fuel injected to carbs. Do you believe the B series motors can benefit from the switch? In addition can you provide information on how I would go about selecting the appropriate type of Carbs and where to get an adapter plate made? And one last note, any tips on tuning? Ive heard many stories of the constant tuning and switching of jets carbs must recieve.
Thanks for your time,
Eric

So this is going in the CRX? Double Whoa.
Hey nice to have you here on honda-tech.
anyways will that be an f22 vtec or non-vtec?
315whp is off the wall crazy hp for a damn all motor car.. sohc or dohc!

I don't believe he can stay at that weight if he's 2.2L.
Also 315 Crank = ~275whp
Pretty Respectable, I'm curious to see how much power the competiton is making.

i would assume that the motor may b a VTEC motor but does not utilize VTEC. i would guess its only got lobes equivalent to VTEC cams and custom built to BISIs specs. good job on the tranny work though.
Bisi I saw your setup at Palmdale this past weekend. What happened to the car that didnt allow you to come back and run Sunday? So are going to Bakersfield this weekend? Are you using the complete F22
?
?
Damn you
....I had this idea first....lolz
I was gonna make and adpater kit for teh B-series trannies to bolt up to H-series motors.
I guess you beat me to it

I used a non-vtec F22 for the buildup.
At palmdale, a faulty aftermarket valve keeper disintegrated on me (I will not name the company) and I could not repair the damage in time for Sunday. Its back to stock keepers for me!
Nice guess Dave, but I said "excess of over", so I just might be producing more than that. ::devilish grin::
I have seen excellent power with carb'd B and D series motors, and tuning has never been an issue. I have acheived better atomization with dual carburators, and thus my loyalty.
A more powerful spare engine will be completeled next Wednesday.
..this will be an interesting season.
