depends on what u want to do.....get the exedy if u want an OEM replacement that is a lil better then stock and last longer. Go for the ACT if u want a stock feel but a clutch that grabs 10 times better and last longer and for time to time track runs. I would go w/ the ACT but it does cost a lot more then the Exedy......my 2 cents.....
I had an ACT extream/modified streed disk and drove a car with the exedy race/oranic on several occasions. The exedy pedal press. is similar to stock, grabs similar to stock (gsr that is) but can take road race/track/street abuse. My experience with ACT was dope too... never had any complaints, it held everything, pedal press was a little stiffer than stock but not bad at all, it grabbed a bit more agressively, and took all the abuse I ever threw at it, street/track...if you plan on having any kind of insane hp later on go with the ACT if not, flip a coin, they are both nice clutch upgrades

I went Exedy in my B18C, and I am loving it so far. I am still in the break in period, so I really haven't had a chance to "get on it." The pedal has a nice stiffness to it, but at the same time, I don't think it is all that stiff. The Exedy clutch/lightened flywheel combo is a great deal from www.coximport.com.
There are many threads about the good old Exedy vs. ACT rivalry, good luck!

i've had both in my setup the HD setup grips like crazy BUT it does have a little harder pedal pressure than stock. i'm currently using the xtreme pp with a street disc so far so good after 2 years of abuse, but heavy pedal pressure feel, not for everyday driving. so i would reccomend the act clutch kit.
Something I remembered...before my sohc turbo was stolen I was running ACT extreame/street disc. The pedal pressure was kinda stiff but I swapped in a newer slave cylinder and it was much easier, I guess it got worn out from aftermarket clutches/stop and go traffic...just an idea.
