Default evap system on a 96 ls?

I need to know if it is going to hurt anything by not being able to plug in my evap system on my ls/vtec and should I just remove the whole thing or not?

here is a pic of me holding the hose that was plugged into my ls manifold

I have the evap control thingy should I just drill a hole in my a2 mani and put it in there and connect the hose?

thanks
mike

You dont not have to have this. It will not affect your motor or performance whatsoever. If you dont want it then get rid of it. Its more of just for emmisions. Enjoy.
