Default evap Q?

If im putting a obd2a gsr swap into a 00 civic si with a obd2b to obd1 harness do i need to hook up the evap purge control valve? im not sure if the obd1 car have this solenoid. thanks

you don't have to as it will not make the car run any worse but if you hook it up it will run cleaner since it is a smog related item
