Engine Swappage
What is the best engine I can put in my 92 Integra RS? I believe it has a b18a1 in it now not a VTEC though. Wondering about spoon engine's or if even a type R engine would fit nicely in. Someone said it won't because my turbo will get in the way. Any ideas?

Re: Engine Swappage (BrandoTheGreat)
as far as i know, almost all integra engines are swappable with civics, and vice versa....that is why so many integra motors are dropped in civics...i have a book about what has to be done for each different motor swap, but i would assume that you could bolt in almost any b-series motor in it....the b18c1(gsr), the b18c5 (itr) and so on....not sure why you would want to do anything different, cept maybe a lude motor, but theres more fabrication involved in dropping one of them in a teg.

Re: Engine Swappage (Mnintegra)
the b18c5 one is that the type r engine???i am looking for the most horse i can possibly get out of it. someone said that a 2000 lude sh(?) engine would be good to put in. what kind of horse difference am i looking at with a type r engine compared to a lude engine and would the turbo i have in my car now still bolt on to the new engine?
