Default engine swap

I received a 1999 automatic civic hb dx and i am wondering whether i can put a better engine in. I also would like to know if i would need any other adjustments, whether everything would still work (air cond.), and how expensive it would be.

Default Re: engine swap (kkevin311711)

when I bought my 96 DX it was auto, I had it taken in for a swap immediately for a 99 B16A2 and was still able to retain A/C, as long as you have all the provided parts for the tranny swap it is not as hard as many people make it out to be
