friend of mines engine blew it was a 93 prelude vtec and they replaced it, problem is the engine they replaced it with looks nothing like the old one, its obviously sohc and looks like the one in my accord (i suspect it is) but i was wondering how i could find out exactly what engine it is, i would also like to do this on my car so i wanted to know where the actual badge is, i recall finding it on my old accord. i just forgot where it is

 

Look at the top of the exhaust manifold. Then look to it's immediate left, and then down several inches.
