sup guys this is a 2 part question..

1st is for anyone who has first hand expirence with an h22 ek> when the swap is finished can you fit the shifter consloe and boot over the new cable shifter to make for a nice clean looking install?

2nd is> when i buy my swap i'm looking for a tpye-s or h22a4. how do i go about avioding a swap that has an atts tranny? and what would i look for?

yes the center console WILL fit you might have to trim a bit on the inside un the cup holders like this, a little ugly but you never see it!!

 

Dang Brian! which shifter did you use?? I had to cut my cupholders so the cups fit in there all crooked now!! I hate it. I'd like to clean it up a bit.. my shifter's got all this white plastic stuff surrounding it. maybe it's just too far foreward? Anyway, yeah, the console looks OE with the cupholder lid closed, but mine interferes with the cupholder itself.
As for the engine, I'm not entirely sure.. Hit up Jason Kidd. He's got a Type S swap and would know more about it than I...

 

I just used the stock **** and trimmed it a bit, I think you did mount your shifter to far forward.

If anyone want this "pre-trimmed" thing let know , and whoever wants it can have it for free (just pay the shipping)!

 

if you want a type-s h22 without the atts tranny, get a Euro R h22. Same numbers as the type-s, no atts.

 

my shifter console fit over the shifter perfectly no trmming needed, the only thing is the tray that covers the ebrakes wont flush with the boot console.
