Default EG HB question

I am going to be putting a D16Y8 into my EG CX HB

I need to know what wiring I need to do

I know I need to wire for VTEC and ODB2 to ODB1 convertion

what else do I need to do other than use a P28

I am going to use my stock EG HB CX harness

Thank you all for your help.

read the stickies. search.

how are you gonna do the swap if you're too lazy to do that?

why you be an *** about things? just asking a question maybe I would like some more up to date information rather than a sticky that been out there for years .....

and Oh yeah if I was lazy I wouldnt be on here looking at different threads all day and replying just to flame them like some people

I'm not being an ***, and trust me, I'm not flaming.

The information is readily available and the swap is a total cakewalk.

Like I said, stop being lazy.

maybe cake for you since you may have done it or other swaps but this is a first for me... and it seems you are able to get the information easy ... so where is the link? I have been looking through the sticky thread and there is no links on a D16Y8 swap into a EG HB ...

... but you dont even know me and you call me lazy ?

The fact that there is no 'how-to' that tells you every step of your specific swap does not mean that the info is not readily available.

Anyway, this project barely qualifies as a 'hybrid.' Search the civic forums. You already know the big stuff. Just get started and solve the little problems as they arise, ya vagina.

Swap out the injectors and every OBD-specific sensor you can from the stock motor to the Y8 (except the O2 sensor). You'll need to wire up the remaining three wires for the 4 wire O2 sensor assuming you car is is a 92 or a 93. You'll need to run wires for the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch (three wires for both), and you'll need to repin the dizzy with an OBD-1 plug so that it'll work correctly. Other than that it's pretty much a bolt in affair.
