EG auto-manual conversion help!
I decided to take on a new project so I bought a cheap decent condition EG (too bad it is an auto). My only question is what wires do you solder together to "fool" the car to think it is in park so you can remove the damn key?
P.S. I alredy searched and hard too!

Re: EG auto-manual conversion help! (GoldenDC2)
Where the shifter is there is a plastic thing with some wires on it. Just solder the two thickest wires. I think one is black and one is green. Anyways its the two thickest wires.

there is a post here somewhere on how to change the ECU from an auto to manual. I had bought a 92 si a while back that kept throwing the code turns out it had an auto ecu. I did the conversion and no problems. very easy.
