Correctomundo. The US & JDM P13s are the same specs and both will work the same. If you have a little more money to spend, I would also suggest a P28 w/Hondata Stage 2 setup, and running the Type S setttings on the car. Compared to a Spoon P13, the car idles and runs smoother, and pulls better in VTEC (but you can obviously adjust that using the Hondata to your specs). Just something else to think about.

any obd1 ecu will plug into a obd1 harness (same with obd0-obd2). The only problems is that each ecu was made for certain motor. They will have differ fuel maps, vtec crossover, and so on.

Newman are you the only shop with the type s base maps? I already bought a p28. I just need to get hondata now. Alot of places i've talked to don't have base maps at all for h22s.

What about the hondata s100?

No, not all OBD1 ecu's are the same, program wise.
Yes, as far as the physical OBD1 ecu plugs go.

You should really run a P13 ecu w/a prelude engine vs. running a chipped P28 or P72 ecu (minus Hondata). Its has been dyno proven that a stock (or reprogrammed) P13 ecu vs. a mugen chipped P28 made more power over the P28 ecu on an H22 engine.

We have the Type S ECU specs and we can also modify it with the Hondata to whatever spec you want. It will work on the S100. Check your PM for more details.

Really? Huh that's weird cuz when i was gonna order a hondata s100 from 2KTEG, he told me that his shop didn't have any h22 base maps and that it would have to be custom. That's cool though. I can't wait til i get my s100.
