ecu or chip
i have gsr in si hatch.. i was wondering whether its better to chip out my si ecu or buy gsr ecu? ie.. iwant to no if my stock ecu will pump enough fuel to the engine.. the chip would only make the redline higer becase my cars rev lim. is at 7500..
if you run or plan on running a SKunk2 manifold, then chipped P28 (si) ecu is the way to go, otherwise there is loss of torque at the lower rpm
as far as P28 ECU (fuel mapping), there isn;t enough of fuel provided especially past VTEC point.
if you want to save money chip it, if you don't care too much about further upgrades and want reliblity get a GSR ecu and be done
