Default Easy question

Just want to make sure im thinking straight......i searched and couldnt find it....

OBD2a is 96-98
OBD2b is 99-01

Is that correct? thank you

correct. there were slight changes from 1998 to 1999such as obd2a going to obd2b. I own a 1997 civic and there are a few differences between it and a 1999, on board diagnostics being one of them.

i have a 97,we're obd2a,98 and up is obd2b, this argument comes up all the time

it's also different between integras and civics.

civics
96-98 = OBD2a
99-00 = OBD2b

integras
96-99 = OBD2a
00-01 = OBD2b

prelude
96-01 = OBD2a

accord
96-97 = OBD2a
98-01 = OBD2b
