Default Dyno'ed B18C

B18C on a Mustang Dynamometer putting down 173.75HP and 134.34Lb-Ft of torque.

I'll scan the chart in Monday when I get to work.

these mustang dyno's are a mystery to me. They're supposed to read lower, but there's all these guys who dyno 170, 180's whp on them with bolt-ons.

Then there's some guys with ITR's claiming 140's on them.

Which b18c is this one?

This was done during the dyno day (9/11/04) at Exotic Performance:

http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com/

Dissapointing thing is that they plotted vs. time instead of RPM. Flat curve is the TQ and the other is the HP. The linear line is the RPM.

with those times (trap speed) i think your dyno numbers are off.. even if this was in a dc2 body .. well you can think what the hell does this guy know and that is fine .. IMO

yep....my buddy has an All motor B20vtec that runs 11.9. Anyways, he has dynoed numerous times and it dynoed in at 230+ range on a dynojet. Went to NOPI nationals for the dyno contest and they had a mustang dyno and it only dynoed 195whp

You guys see anything wrong w/ the times? Wondering whether I should be faster w/ the mods I have or 14.5 is good numbers. I'm running brand new Yokohama AVS ES100's (205/50/15)

I guess it depends on what settings were dialed in on the dyno, but 14.5 in a eg seems really slow for ~170 on a Mustang dyno. I think your hp figure is exaggerated. Ive seen h22s with similar mods pull less than 170 on a mustang dyno.

Not callin u a liar, maybe whoever dyno'd it did something wierd.

yer times are about avg

Dyno'ed w/ my new Hondata S200 today w/ Autowerks Motorsport in Madison Heights.

162.1HP 126.1Ft-lb (on Dynapack Chasis Dynamometer)

So definitely know that the Mustang Dyno was wrong.
