Default DOHC ZC question

I recently blew up my zc motor, and need to purchase a new one. I've had the motor for 3 years now, and am wondering where is the best place to order one from both price and quality wise. Something on the east coast would be ideal, but I realize that is kindof a lot to ask so its not a requirement, just a preference. Thanks for your help

Go to http://www.hmotorsonline.com and look for the ZC motor, i think its $500 + shipping, and they also have shipping info on there site.

Check out NOYAN in Manassas, VA, the are in Euclid court off or Euclid Avenuse a short distance from Liberia Avenue. 1-800-877-2352. May not be cheapest, but they are local and you would save on the shipping charges.

thanks, hopefully they have a large selection, because ive had good luck with the ones that came out of an auto, because they usually arent run as hard should also save me a chunk of change in shipping, because it's only an hour and a half away

Well if you drive there and are buying on the spot they will usually take you out to the warehouse and pick one. I had very good luck dealing with them. they had over 50 ZC's the day I bought mine. But that all depends on just when you get there if its before they get a shipment your choices will be more limited.

I doubt if it did, unless they dropped their prices. But a plus is you can hand pick your engine. Just by getting a good TPS yo uwill have a spare or one you can sell to someone else less fortunate. That will ofset your cost some. They stand behind their engines, and being local its so much easier to deal with a problem then for a place halfway across the USA, or Canida. I lived close enough they delivered for free. But that all depends on how far you live from their shop. Handpicking my engine to get all good accessories and sensors and free delivery was worth far more to me then the higher prices they charge than at some other places. Heck I got a trans that had the axels cut so the inner joints were still in place and I was sure no debris was floating around in the trans. And NO busted sensors and a harness that was cut near the battery. These may mean less to you than they did me.

got my motor (and replacement tps from there yesterday), pretty good experience, though i havent put the motor in yet or done a compression test, but everything looks flawless. just so you (and others) know, they have an advertisement on their site that says "we smote any other price" so if you're in the md/va/dc area its probably worth your while to go pick it up from them, and save yourself the shipping charges. on a side note, when i was there they had a full gsr front clip, that had been in an accident, i sneaked a peak at the odometer, and it had 6,000 km, thats right, thats about 4k miles, for $3800 which is kindof overpriced, but ****, that motor looked BRAND new, so if anyone is looking for a gsr swap and in the area, i'd highly recommend taking a peak at this clip.
