does this sound like a good setup?
spoon pistons and mugen head gasket.. 11.6 compression
jdm type r headers
comptech exhaust
skunk cams
obd1 ecu and harness
act clutch
aem pulleys
aem cam gears
b&m fpr
what do u think that setup would do in a 2000 gs-r?

1. If you are going to take the entire block apart, why not get some better Rods & ARP rod bolts. http://www.theoldone.com for Pistons... "If endyn makes it and you bought something else, you made the first mistake..."
2. AEM cam gears only have 3 bolts, don't let your baby get f'd up from slippage, get some better gears.
3. Chip that ECU, locash, Skunk2... P28's are reasonable.
Otherwise soudns good, good luck, have fun.

Damn double post, don't hit refresh after you post something I guess!! This BB is awesome, although I like the functionality of mine a bit better (www.3rdshift.org), few bugs...

Re: does this sound like a good setup? (92Si)
just to ask.. this is for a b18c engine.. well no need for the spoon pistons.. dropping JDM ITR pistons into a B18C1 will raise the CR to 11.3:1 or so
and the thinner head gasket will raise the CR to 11.6:1 EASILY ,always remember to make sure that your engine will not detonate with the high CR of 11.6:1 .. and I'm certain you'll be running 92 or better octane damn gas prices
