Default Do I need to wire up the VREF?

I did a Y2k H22 into a 98dx. And I'm stumped as to where I need to hook this up to. Is this an important thing? Thanks.

what pin-out are you referring to?

I'm pretty sure it's not required, but I will check for sure.

There are 2 pin outs from the OBD1 GSR ECU which i don't know where to connect to on the OBD2b plug.

1. D7 - TXD/RXD
2. D16 - VREF

Both of these positions is from a OBD1 GSR ecu....can you tell me which pin out on the OBD2b ECU plug to connect this to?
