Default dizzy question

i have a 98 itr motor in a 93 vx. i had cut the obdII plug off the dizzy and put the obdI plug on. i recently read that its a bad idea to cut the wires on the dizzy itself and you are supposed to cut the engine harness. would a b-series obdI dizzy work on my motor?

yes it will work...if your modified dizzy is working w/ no problem, why bother changing it?
