Someone either has some good engineering skills or photoshop skills.

Re: A different type of Hybrid.................... (BERT-O)
you have got to be fuggin joking !!!!!!!!
WOW, I'm stunned.... !
You can easily tell it s Fiesta by the headlights, the way the hood opens and the little triangle front vent-windows... man now I remember how crappy the interior was! What do those weigh?... 1600 pounds? Maybe 1700 pounds fully prepped?
A 1980 Ford Fiesta was my first car.... baby blue. The car was only brought to US between '79-'82 and the Fiesta is a German built car with an English Kent engine. I bought it from a guy that had five of them, and the blue one had been in storage for 5 years so he could build a trackcar out of it, it was immaculate. He never got the budget for the plan, so he sold it to me, I drove it for three years, loved that thing. I had so many plans to mod it but never dedicated the cash...
Then I sold it in a decision to get something newer.. a 1990 Civic sedan. DOH! That car never made an imnpression on me either, the sedan was just a commuter car If I knew then what I know now, and see here, I woulda kept that Fiesta and made a track beast hybrid daily driver that would be sick! gawd dang! So any more info? The Ford Fiesta is such a good handling car for its age that it was the one car that destroyed the original MINI Cooper's track records for small cars made in Europe. Too bad there are zero of these available in the Northeast, the cars could not withstand the roadsalt. Companies like B.A.T. still support these though... Hey arent you in Sarasota Florida?!??!?! And since the original Kent engine is also used in Formula Ford racing.... support still flourishes for Fiestas... just imagine an inline four, 1.6 liter, twin dual side draft carbeurator setup, much like ITB's, on a small motor in a small car, hello!!!!!!! dont we ALL love that scenario?
Well, I have to give BIG PROPS to the guy that did that swap, what a shitload of work and custom at that! I gotta say its kinda scary too, if he fit that B16 in there, then he can easily run any of the newer CRVTEC setups people have been runnign with 240 whp.... that would be such a crazy car. Already is pretty wicked now, but man, I am so proud to see a Fiesta turn out so well, sniff sniff, aww jeeez
