as with most jdm motors mine came with a busted IAB box and solenoid. i found a replacement box however the solenoid plug is different and will not mate to the stock harness. refer to the pic below.

i have placed a different plug on the harness to make it work but i have no clue on the pinout of the solenoid. any clues? i know it's a 50/50 but i'd rather get it right the first time .

run leads from your battery
put positive on one side, neg on the other, and see if it clicks....

 

someone said the pinouts don't matter. is this true? i just want a confirmation. thanks v4lu3s for repsonding.

 

i honestly dont think they do matter. as far as i know it is jsut a solenoid that is either activated or not.

I am willing to bet that that i an obd box which might explain the diff in the plug shape.
