Re: difference in VTEC solenoids? (egs4life)
me and another guy bumped 2 old threads like 3 days ago about this same question. I dont know that ALL d series solenoids are compatible but I have confirmed that at least the d16z6 solenoid is.

Re: difference in VTEC solenoids? (egs4life)
so off topic since they closed that thread above . Can I use any obd2 vtec pressure switch on a d15b dual solenoid there are green ones on eBay that's say d15 b18 h22 etc and then gray ones that specifically say d16z6 I know z6 obd1 so will the green one work it describes 92 -2000 civics so I'm confused cause this is a jdm d15b 3 stage dual solenoid I can't find that particular pressure switch anywhere thank you if some one helps I been on the internet for hrs reading

The '92-95 OBD-1 "D" series VTEC assembly uses the same gasket as the '94-01 "B" series assembly, so it will physically bolt to either engine (B or D) without issue... the only difference is the way the pressure switch is oriented. You will likely have to lengthen the VTP plug/wiring when you use a "D" series assembly on a "B" series and a "B" series assembly on a "D" series engine may interfere with some of the original cooling lines and you may still need to lengthen the VTP wiring. The '96-00 "D" series VTEC assembly will NOT fit a "B" series engine.

Re: difference in VTEC solenoids? (egs4life)
school me please. I can't find the obd2 96 00 pressure switch just d16z6 ones are gray n say specifically z6 . But then there are green ones that have a list of engines including z6 too . But say d15 on the selling title but not d15b( obd2) cause of course there's d15b's that are one 0 n obd1 B non V , b2 , b5, b7, b8 I'm looking to just replace thst switch that's what my code is throwing. I could replace the hole set up to be safe but can't find the solenoid or the pressure switch . Thx for you help b4

Over the last four months, you quoted a statement originally posted by neogenesis2004 THREE TIMES with no comment or question below it... this isn't like you accidentally did it three times over a few minutes... it was three times from November 2017 to March 2018 !!! I ask you "WHY" and your response is "what".
So again, I ask you: Do you have a question or are you trolling ???
