Default Difference between D16 and ZC?

Yeah does antbodt know the difference between the Integra D16 and the ZC motor. I know the obvious that the ZC has about 15 more horses but why? Is it comp. or the cam or just a completly different setup. I ask this because Im looking for the best swap for a 87 Civic and if I can give a D16 the same horsepower as a ZC it will be much cheaper. Also I want to know does anyone have experience with mods on the D16 and what are your suggestions.
Thanks In advance
ColinT

I would do the integra motor, just because it's simpler. Are you talking the black top ZC's? If you want it to be easy, I would do the 86-87 integ.motor.
