Default decrease the throw on a h22 in a eg.

im having a problem, i want a short shift or somehow fix the way my shifter sits in neutral.. its seems every time from 1st to 2nd the throw is so long, sometimes causes me to miss shift..

excuse the angle of the pic and the lighting. this how is sits in neutral.
im running a custom shift linkage.

Forbidden Motorsports

By far the single best upgrade I have done. Shifts like a B series again....

the full assembly is better, like the forbidden motorsports, & i think there is one other one (PSPEC tuning??).

but if your going to get an adaptor don't waste your money on that newspeed one($125)...you can get a findanza one on ebay for less that half the price of the neuspeed.

I got an ebay one for $13 shipped.

Soon to be replaced with the forbidden shifter. I've heard about 35 great reviews on this site, and nothing bad about it.

Good stuff. I use the Neuspeed one because that was the only thing around back in 1997. For $13 for an eBay knockoff, it sounds good.

Then there is the Forbidden Shifter?

For $125, not bad either. Looks like good stuff!

another option would be the B&M shifter, it been two year and have had zero problems with mine and my throw are super short and super slick.

i switched from the 91 accord shift assembly to prelude. that lowered the shifter about 1", then i put on the $13 e-bay shifter. Its now super short and I have zero problems..

I was going to get the 4bidden one, but im too cheap

LOL, me too. The forbidden is supposed to be 1/2" shorter and weighted though. Those are the only reasons i'm switching soon. The ebay adapter is actually pretty decent though.

the metal looks a bit crappy, but hey, i saved an assload of money and it works perfectly. I'd consider the 4bidden one if i was doing another swap, but right now, its not broken, so it doesn't need to be fixed

wow I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind the stock shifter? I even have an 8lb flywheel and its still seems quick enough for me... do you guys just prefer the feel of an aftermarket short shifter?

Same here, i honestly dont have any problem with my stocker. But then again, ive never tried a short throw on it either. That forbidden sure looks nice though........

I am also using the psec shifter from the Accord 94-97 shift assemble, and it makes a whole world of difference.

The only issue is 5th gear, cause that throw could still be a little shorter, but compared to stock,k it's amazing just for the shift.

P.S. - i have a new one for sale if you are interested pm me
