Default D17A2 SOHC VTEC Comparision Info Needed

I need to know how similar the newest SOHC VTEC D17A1 Engine is in comparision to the Older SOHC VTEC (D16Z6 and D16Y8) engines.

(1) Header Bolt Pattern
(2) Old Pan Clearance
(3) Intake Manifold Bolt Pattern
(4) Distributor Bolt Pattern - is it like the D16Y/D16A/D15B Series or the D16Z Series
(5) Driver's Engine Mount Bracket (to engine) Bolt Pattern
(6) Transaxle Bell Housing Bolt Pattern - is it the same as the 4G/5G/6G Bolt Pattern.
(7) Where is the VTEC Solenoid - I keep forgetting to notice where it is.

I need help trying to establish how different this new engine is in comparision to the older series of Z and Y SOHC VTEC's.

So information like the header swappability with older engines, that kind of stuff will really help.

If I could get ahold of a pulled longblock I would be in heaven, but it's very hard trying to locate one to take measurements and try swapping on the manifolds.

Things I do know:
D17A2 - EX Motor - 01-03+
CR: 9.9:1
Bore: 75mm (actually 74.5mm)
Stroke: 94.4mm (over previous 90mm, this is not positive information)
CC: 1668cc
HP: 127 hp
TQ: 114 lbs-ft

What I don't need to know:
...any other information not regarding to the D-series engines.

Your help is greatly appreciated,
Jon
