Default D16Y7 to Y8 swap...problems.

Hey guys, I swapped a 1996 D16Y8 into my 1997 hatchback and everything works great except that I keep getting a code P0453 EVAP pressure too hih error. I got a new gas cap and that did not help at all, even changed the EVAP sol on the fuel rail, still nothing. This code only started after the Y8 was installed, never had a problem when the Y7 was in it....anyone know whats up!?

What ECU, and the year, are you using?

sure it isn't code 91?, the fuel tank pressure sensor. If you have a 97 hatch you don't have this sensor, where as the ex's do. There is a way to fix it. Search for "code 91" and look around. Also, the evap canister is different. Get the ex canister. It has a sensor on the top of it, which your hatch one doesn't. I did this swap and worked out the CEL.
