Default D15b7 mini me

Hi I am new to Honda Tech. I was wondering which would be better for a mini me swap on a d15b7, a d16z6 head or d16y8? Would a d16y8 be the easier of the two?

I keep hearing d16y8 is better because of the metal head gasket and it has better compression?

I want to build the car for racing so I want a reliable set up that will last.

Look in the FAQs in the 92-00 forum, lots of info including compression calculators.
