Default D15b with P28 head

Hello, I have bought a 97 integra gsr that the seller swapped a d15b with. I’m in the process of getting started on thinking what I want to do with it. I need some help, since this is my first acura/honda im working with.

I checked the engine name, says it is a d15b. I’m not sure if this is the jdm or not, so I checked to see the head name, and it showed P28. When I look this head up, it says this head is from a D16a1 (pretty sure), and I’m not sure what to do now.

I would like to either get the proper ecu, which in my mind is a p28 chipped to p08 for the d15b, but I dont know if thats compatible woth my head. Im pretty confused here and not sure how to continue my build. Thanks

Head

You might start by looking at the head stamps to see what you have. They are usually around the exhaust ports.

The P28 stamp you have pictured is not on the cylinder head, it's on the plastic timing belt housing.
