CTR Front Sway on EK..
I've had a CTR (same as US SI) front swaybar for a while now, but have been waiting to replace bushings and repaint suspension before I put it on.. I understand that alot of guys say the ITR rear bar is enough , but was looking for people who themselves drive crazy on the street or circuit, and get THEIR thoughts on the swaybar..
I put an ITR on HKxGroggy's EG coupe LS and I like it alot, but haven't experienced our cars yet with a front at all..
Again, I'm looking for input on PERSONAL experience with a front and rear and what was positive and what was negative.. Is the understeer able to be compensated for? etc etc.. thanks in advance

I have the ST bars (F&R) on my 96 CX and it handles awesome on the track and in the mountains.
If you use the CTR bar on the front, you'll need the 99-00 Si front lower control arm and endlink bushings.....

i am running si/ctr front sway with an itr rear sway with beaks srk. this set up is really nice. i feel the steer is neutral. but it also depends on the condition and the driver. i would highly recommend the si front and itr rear with the beaks kit.
I'm so glad to hear the positive comments.. Yah, I have all the hardware to do the front and rear, except for the beak's kit.. I was planning to use the same hardware I used for the install on the roommate's EG, the stock mounts, but switched left to right and a little dremelling of the "ear", so the bushing bracket fits properly..
Are there some sort of spacing issues involved in this versus the Beak's setup? Let me know, in case I need to buy the kit.. thx again..

the bar needs to sit about 1" from the subframe. with out the kit, the bar will rip out of the subframe. beaks kit is two plates that go on both sides of the subframe greatly strengthing it. you will have to drill one hole on each side for the itr brackets to fit on the car. beaks srk is a must.
stock, the bar sits about an inch away from the subframe.. I am using this same mount and everything, but just imagine it upside-down (actually swapped left-to-right) and that's how I've done it on EGs, and planned to on mine.. Anyone else ever do it this way.. Basically this is the way it was done before the big msg boards came about..
I'm never willing to pay for parts that I can build myself or reuse from existing material, unless of course durability/strength/etc is involved.. Anyone who knows, let me know.. thx
