CTR cams in an LSVTEC???

CTR cams in an LSVTEC???
Whats the benefit of using CTR cams in an LSVTEC? Right now I have a stock B17A1 head on it. The block is also stock with the exception of the oil and water pumps. I'm planning on swapping CTR pistons in also in the near future.
