Default CRX Swaps

I tried searching for answers to my question, but I came up with nothing informative.

My friend at work has a '91 CRX Si Special Edition. The car currently looks fast, but is in actuality very slow. It has orange paint, some type of body kit, and a supra like spoiler. It sounds like its ricey, but its actually a pretty nicely done car. Even my rice-hating self likes it! Anways, I have no in-depth knowledge about Honda engine swaps, but I am very good with cars and I have swapped different engines into my Festivas. I've done wiring, clutch mods, etc etc etc.

We want to swap a different engine into this CRX, but we have no idea what to swap in. I suggested that we put in a B18, but he wants a B16. I know that the ZC bolts in, but are there any other engines that bolt in?

What wiring will need to be done? He wants VTEC for sure. So I'm assuming that adds some difficulty to the swap. Do we need to get a mount kit?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm sure these have been asked a million times, I know what its like, people are always asking me about my swap and I get fed-up. Come on... help a brotha out!

Thanks

The only reason I am answering this is because you have racing Festivas, that is pretty cool. If you're looking for VTEC is not the answer, if he already has an SI engine and you want to add VTEC to it look into the mini-me swap. B16 will give you VTEC but comes at a lot larger price than the mini-me swap. From what I read the mini-me swap on a si engine leaves it a little slower than the ZC engine. You could always go with the ZC engine and turbo charge it, thats what I plan on doing.
