CRX with LS swap pulling code 14
Been tying to figure this out for my buddys Crx for a while know and cant fix it. I used to own the car but before i sold it to him It was a 89 CRX DX DPFI, then i converted it to MPFI with a SOHC in it. Sold it to him later down the road he got a LS swap for his car and wanted to convert it to OBD-1 So he bought a Jumper harness from OBD-0 to OBD-1. Ever since we did this pulls a code 14 and the EACV does not turn on cant hear it click when i plug it in or unplug it changed it with 3 good known ones and still doesn't work any ideas. Owww yes and the other things it does is when you rev it past 1000 RPM all the way up to 2500 RPM it just fluxuates (think i missed spelled) up and down like crazy but after 2500 runs fine. well anything will help me out guys thanks for the help guys.

Re: CRX with LS swap pulling code 14 (milruner)
If no wiring changes were made to the IACV which I don't see why there would be, then the problem has to be in the jumper harness or associated with the other OBD1 wiring changes in the engine harness. If you have tested other IACV's which are known to be good, then the problem is in the wiring.
The IACV has a signal wire to the ECU and a 12V+ switched power (YEL/BLK wire). Turn the car to run and disconnect the plug. Test the YEL/BLK wire for 12V+ power which it should have. If that checks out ok then it's no doubt the signal wire.
