I have the 63402 in a '97 GSR (B18C1).
They have been in for about 7 months (or about 6000 km) and I have had no problems. I also have the Crower springs.
I drive the $hit out of it too!

I have seriously only heard about one set of cams breaking in some dudes motor. I don't think it's all too common for something like that to happen.
I wouldn't worry about it. For the most part, Crower makes quality products.
It was probably just a fluke or something.

I do not have Crower Cams, however, I have personally seen 2 sets break. One set broke during installation, and the other set broke within a month. They snapped in half.
Hey:
Do a search over at http://www.hybridforum.com. I seem to remember a big thread about this over there a month or so ago.

People!!!............EVERY CAM CAN BREAK! It is not just Crower, but JUN,TODA,CRANE etc. The first and biggest problem is due to installation error. I personally have Crower and know many others also who have NEVER had problems with them. All of the mentioned companies go to great lengths to maintain super high quality standards, Billet cams have a MUCH lower failure rate than regrinds. In the Old School days cams did break due to regrinds howver the billet blank has basically taken care of the problem
Here are 2 topics on Crower stuff, they aren't the only ones that can break.

yea if they break
odds are crower will be giving you your money back and repairing your engine.
**** like that isnt supposed to break. (not from a quality company anyway)

OEM CAMS are the best and there NON breakable
crowers are nice cams. good price too. i've seen just about every cam break so i dont take that into account much. just make sure to set up your valvetrain right and measure installed height of your v-springs.
I have about 40,000 miles on a set of Crower 63401 cams with ITR spirngs and retainers. The motor has seen 9,200 rpm a few times, 8,800 on a regular basis, and saw 8,300 for about 2 minutes once in 5th gear on the highway.
