Icon3 conversion from stick to auto EF. do I still need the ps?

I did a conversion from ef stick to auto. All I need right now to finish it is if I
Need the power steering rack or just use the no-ps steering rack that has there? I have a 91 Si wit no ps. And iit doesn't bother me. But I wonder if
Automatic ef with no Ps will be a problem!! Any suggestion will help. Thanks.

Why did you convert from 5 speed to auto?

If you could convert a car from auto to manual, what would change so that manual to auto wasn't possible? I'm not getting what you're getting at here. Also the steering rack type is completely irrelevant to your drivetrain. Run whichever type of Steering you please.

Ok. Maybe I didn't explain my self clearly. I know it has been done. I meant for the mechanics and shops around my area that said I couldn't. Now since 91 ef auto comes already with PS. All I want to know is if it matters if I just leave it with the none PS on my ef conversion. I was just wondering if it matters why they put PS on auto and do I have to the same to my conversion. That's all.
