Default coilover question????

ok I was wondering if the suspension of a 88 CRX Si (shocks and coilovers) would bolt to any 6th gen civics (including the Si)

thanks fellas any feedback would be sweet

Yes and no - Yes if you use all the pieces I mention here, No if you have just the struts and coilovers. Assuming that the 88 CRX has the stock 88 rear LCA's: The 88's have the JDM style rear LCA's where the strut mounts through the center of the arm rather than the forked design (89+) that bolts over the arm. You could use the complete LCA and rear struts and coilovers on the 92+ Civic's.
Ok now for the fronts: The 88-91 Civic/CRX has a smaller diameter strut so the diameter of the opening on the strut fork is smaller. In order to mount the strut onto the newer 92+ Civic then you will need the 88-91 Civic/CRX strut for as well.
