Clutch Question?
I posted this in the "CRX / EF Civic". This is probably a better place to post it.
OK, I have a Dual Friction 90-91 Teg LS clutch now in my car. And I'm replacing the tranny with a 93 LS Cable tranny. Now instead of me spending another 500 bucks for a clutch. Can I just buy another friction disk? I know the Pressure plate is the same in the 90-93 Tegs. But the spline count on the friction disk is different on the 90-91 teg and 92-93 tegs. And I don't believe Center Force sells just the friction disk separately. But I noticed ACT does. Now will the ACT friction disk fit the Center Force pressure plate? Or am I pretty much stuck buying another clutch kit? Thanks for any help....

Re: Clutch Question? (RoadRage)
Yes, technically all you need to do is switch the disc. Depending on how abused/used your current clutch is, you're going to want to resurface the flywheel and check the pressure plate surface.
