Civic wagon?
Anyone running a hybrid '88-91 Civic wagon here?
I've been considering buying one for a winter beater, and doing an engine swap later on just for fun . . .

Drop a LS into it and you'll love it. Boosted would be even sweeter. My friend has a 88 Wagovan with a LS in it. I jump at any opportunity to drive that car. Nothing beats the look of pulling on some poser with his 2 foot tall wing on his trunk.

I've seen your site many times before, mad props to you!
My only problem is finding a decent, cheap wagon to start out with. Any advice?

Re: Civic wagon? (Solid Alibye)
I was considering a B18C1, but it just won't provide the power I'm looking for (car must be able to embarrass '99+ Mustang GTs), and the cost is very prohibitive. I want to stay N/A, and can't afford much more than basic bolt-ons.
Since it'd be more of a project car than a daily driver, I think CR-VTEC is the route I want to go . . . cheap and powerful

If cost is a big factor, I don't think you will spanking 5.0's on a N/A set up. Just go turbo and EMS. Then you will spanking v8's all day.

i'm just waiting on my injectors and smc to run my turbo vtec wagon now. should be fairly fun. I would definately go with a b18 if I didn't want to keep the awd part.
